We provide guided tours of Villa Borghese in Segway with English assistance.
The tour lasts for 1 and a half hours, includes a visit to the park with several stops for photos and explanations of the sites.
Before the tour starts, enjoy a quick orientation about riding a Segway. We will start to see the famous water clock, built in 1873 by Emrior's father, whose operation is guaranteed by the water that starts the pendulum; Later, you walk along the avenue called "Pincio Walk", completed between 1811 and 1823, which was the garden of the Roman people where it was possible to enjoy many shows and events.
Going backwards you will find Casina Valadier, an elegant neo-classical building, built by Giuseppe Valadier between 1816 and 1837. Continuing on Magnolia Avenue you will reach the other side of the Villa, the largest.
On the other side of the tour is the visit of the temple of Esculapio, located inside an artificial island of the lake in the garden of the lake of Villa Borghese. It is an Ionic temple built between 1875 and 1892 by Asprucci; Piazza di Siena is a large green area that was born on the initiative of Prince Marcantonio IV, who made it to welcome celebrations and popular events; the Galleria Borghese is a beautiful historic building that houses one of the most beautiful collections of art works in the world.
